About
I grew up around restaurants, not boardrooms. My first delivery job wasn't an app, it was walking orders to the gas station next door from my grandparents' restaurant for a few dollars in tips. That instinct, understand the operator's world before you try to lead in it, has defined everything since.
My career ran through fine dining and POS analytics before it ran through enterprise tech. I even owned a food vending business operating at music festivals around the country, which taught me more about hustle, logistics, and reading a room than any classroom could.
I spent nearly a decade at Avero building the systems that helped restaurants, hotels, and casinos run better, then joined Uber Eats in 2020. I led the Online Food Delivery vertical for Uber Direct across the US and Canada, bringing Uber's technology and courier network into restaurant brands' own first-party channels. My team launched new partnerships, scaled first-party delivery 10X, and closed brands that had held out on delivery for a decade, including Darden.
Alongside the deal work, I served as the Global Co-Chair for Los Ubers, Uber's Hispanic and Latino employee resource group, work that shaped my leadership as much as any negotiation. Across my career, I've managed several dozen individuals across sales, success, and tech, and coached more than 100 restaurant managers and operators along the way. I also completed the Chief Data and AI Officer Program at the University of Michigan, because I wanted to understand where this technology is taking leadership, not just talk about it.
I built the LEAD Framework from all of it.
"No task is too small, including for me. The real work happens on the floor, not above it, and that's exactly where I still show up."
